Teaching Roles

Langdon Academy is part of Brampton Manor Trust and works in close partnership with the other school in the Trust, Brampton Manor Academy. It is an ‘all-through’ school which will achieve its first set of KS2 test results this summer. At KS4, the school achieved the best results in its long and, mostly proud, history and finished in the top 8% of schools in England with a “well above average” Progress 8 score of 0.62.

These figures make Langdon the fastest rising school in Newham, and our current data points towards further significant gains in Summer 2018. Not surprisingly therefore, there is a real energy in the school at the present time with our strong and professional staff constantly developing the curriculum and the effectiveness of teaching and learning. Given the potential of our students, there is no ceiling on what can be achieved at this school.

This progress is the result of a team effort in which teachers and support staff are all working towards the same goals.

So, if you’re a really strong practitioner in your field and you’re looking for a school which will take seriously the next stages of your professional development, you will find Langdon to be a place of opportunity. We believe there has never been a better time to join Langdon, so maybe you looking at this page could be the start of something special.
