KS1
In key stage one (Years 1 and 2, ages 5-7) we offer a broad and balanced curriculum. You can find out more about what child will be learning and the targets that will be used to measure how well your child is doing in each subject by referring to the appropriate year group leaflet below.
Each year we will report your child's progress to you in a number of ways:
Early Autumn: Meet the Teacher
Late Autumn: Parent Consultation Evening
Spring: Progress Report
Summer: Achievement Report
In key stage one national data is compiled through two tests: In Year 1 your child will undertake a Phonics Screening Check and in Year 2 the national tests (SATs) and teacher assessments in English and maths for end of key stage one.
