Year 8 Visit to University of Oxford, Wadham College

As part of the ‘Into University’ programme a large group of Year 8 students visited the University of Oxford on Friday 23rd November 2018. Wadham College students were guides (two were from East London) for the day and shared detailed life experiences and expectations at the University.Langdon student's then participated in a debate organised by the Into University programme.

 Year 7 Into University Secondary FOCUS programme

Into University works in partnership with local schools and colleges, aiming to inspire and support young people to realise their full potential.

The Secondary FOCUS programme is a set of workshops which provide information and support about career opportunities, Higher Education and future aspirations whilst helping with the school work.

Our first all-day workshop for Year 7 students was on Thursday 6th December 2018. The programme was held at the Into University centre in East Ham.

 

Year 11 Progression Evening

We had over 40 post-16 providers at the annual event on Wednesday 21st November 2018. Year 11 students were able to meet and discuss KS5 options with a range of different type of providers, such as colleges, sixth forms, apprenticeships and traineeships.
